Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
In the early 1990's, the leaders of Oklahoma City launched a new program that changed the face of Oklahoma City forever. When the Metropolitan Area Project was complete, over one billion dollars had been invested, providing visitors with a multitude of new attractions and entertainment choices. A new trolley system, the Oklahoma Spirit, now connects a three-mile area looping through the downtown area. Visitors can easily move between the area hotels, the state fairgrounds and stockyards, as well as Bricktown. Bricktown, a warehouse district that was transformed to become the fastest growing entertainment district in the southwest. Stroll along the streets, or better yet take a water taxi through the canals as you explore the wonderful shopping and some of the city's best restaurants and night clubs. Just a short distance from Bricktown is the futuristic-looking Crystal Bridge, which located within the Myriad Botanical Gardens. This 17-acre retreat is filled with beautiful exotic plants and flowers. You might even choose to take the Adventure Walk and venture under the 35-foot cascading waterfall. A trip to Oklahoma City would not be complete without dusting off your cowboy hat and heading to attractions like the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, Remington Park Race Track, Frontier City Theme Park, and the Red Earth Indian Center. Each of these attractions reflects the strong ties this area has with its western heritage. Package Includes:- Choice of accommodations
