  1. The integration will not impact your upcoming travel through Continental Airlines Vacations. Continental Airlines Vacations will continue to service existing passengers. Please check your travel documents in order to make sure you are checking in at the correct airline kiosk.


  1. Can I still travel after the integration date?

  1. Yes, the integration will not affect your travel plans. You can still travel as scheduled. The two vacation brands are being integrated ahead of the final integration between the two airlines.


  1. What is different for United Vacations?

  1. No, Continental Airlines and United Airlines are not operating under a single operating certificate yet.They are still going through the lengthy process of integrating the two airlines into one and that process isn't expected to be fully complete until sometime in 2012.

  1. I won a Continental Airlines Vacations trip certificate, is it still valid on United Vacations?

  1. Yes, all trip certificates will be honored on United Vacations as long as booking dates and travel dates are still valid.


  1. I have a Continental Airlines Vacations Gift Card. Can I use it on United Vacations?

  1. Yes, and you can also check the balance online.


  1. I have a Continental Airlines Vacations Travel Voucher. Can I use it on United Vacations?

  1. Yes. You can also check the balance online.


  1. I have a Continental Airlines issued Electronic Travel Certificate (ETC.) Can I use it on United Vacations?

  1. Yes, Continental Airlines-issued Electronic Travel Certificates will be accepted as payment towards the air portion of a United Vacations package. Travel must be in accordance with the terms and conditions on the certificate. To redeem you must:

    • Call United Vacations at 1-888-854-3899 to make your reservation and indicate that you are using a Continental Airlines-issued Electronic Travel Certificate as a form of payment (these cannot be redeemed via the website).
    • Provide the Promotions Code and PIN located in the upper right hand corner of the Electronic Travel Certificate at the time of reservation.

  1. If I have an existing Continental Airlines Vacations reservation, will I receive new documents?

  1. No, you can use the documents you already received.


  1. Will I earn OnePass or MileagePlus miles? Also, will my OnePass Miles transfer over to MileagePlus?

  1. Travelers will be able to continue to earn miles with either OnePass or MileagePlus until the two programs are integrated. Learn more regarding the integration of the frequent flier programs.

  1. Yes, however you must call the carrier you are booked on, with your OnePass or MileagePlus number, to determine if your airfare is eligible for an upgrade.

  1. All travelers should check in with their operating carriers. Please note that some Continental Airlines check-in counters have been changed to United Airlines. In this case, you will be able to check-in with United.


  1. If I have booked transfers, who do I look for when I arrive in the destination?

  1. If your vacation package includes transfers from Continental Airlines Vacations, please continue to look for the Continental Airlines Vacations signage.
